A Paint Night in Kemptville will bring in funds for the Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary. The fundraising event is set for May 26 at St. John’s United Church. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Founder Andy Parent says Big Sky Ranch is in desperate need of donations.
Big Sky Ranch currently has 115 animals, ranging from cats and dogs to cows and goats. The sanctuary takes in animals who have nowhere else to go. It relies solely on donations to keep its doors open. Event organizer Chantal Contois says she wanted to help out.
People can buy tickets by contacting the Big Sky Ranch directly. The goal is to bring in $500 for the local animal sanctuary. For more details, visit bigskyranch.ca.
