North Grenville Mayor David Gordon wants the vandal(s) who destroyed the Kinderwood Trail caught. He voiced his outrage at the council meeting Monday night. The trail is part of the Ferguson Forest Centre and starts at Anniversary Park. It was designed to teach kids about forest animals. Gordon says the trail was recently vandalized.

Artist Don Munz and other volunteers worked with the Friends of the Ferguson Forest Centre, the Municipality of North Grenville and the two local high schools to create the signage along the trail. Gordon says vandalism is an ongoing issue.

One of the signs in Anniversary Park was removed and the cost to replace it is $1,500. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
