Time to show off your decorating skills and community spirit! Duck decoys are now available for local businesses looking to take part in the annual Rotary Club competition. Serge Lacroix, Rotary member, says people can decorate the decoys any way they want.
A donation of $100 gets you a decoy and all money raised goes back into the community. This year the Rotary is contributing to the Kemptville Youth Centre, a local science fair and benches for public parks. Lacroix says the decoys will be on display at Canadian Tire from May 17 to 25.
They will also be on display at the duck race, set for May 27 at Rotary Park in Kemptville. About 80 businesses took part last year. To get your hands on a decoy, contact Lacroix directly by calling 613-715-3899.
