World-class hockey is coming to town. The 73’s rookie camp is this Saturday and Sunday at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. Terry Nichols, the team’s general manager, says this is the first step as the team prepares for next season.
Players from across North America will be coming to play, competing in four games each. An all-star game is set for Sunday at 2 p.m. The 73’s are looking to fill their Junior “A” and midget teams. Nichols says last season was a total rebuild for the 73’s.
Next season’s roster will be set in August. The public is welcome to come out and watch.
