Former Finance Minister Jim Flaherty is dead, not a month after his resignation. Emergency crews were called to his home in downtown Ottawa this afternoon. The 64-year-old was found without vital signs. No cause of death has been released. Flaherty stepped down on March 18th, saying his health was not a factor in his decision. His family is thanking Canadians for their support in his public life.
