There has been an alleged cougar sighting in the Municipality of Tweed. OPP received the call just after noon on Wednesday. The mountain lion was reportedly spotted in a treed area behind an elementary school on Hungerford Street. Police notified the Ministry of Natural Resources and schools were advised to keep children inside for the afternoon.
