A 40 year old Cornwall man is facing stunt driving charges after learning the difference between miles & kilometers per hour.
At 2:30 Sunday morning, the OPP in Leeds County were patrolling on the 401 when one of the officers says a vehicle man blew past him at 159 KM/h. The man was pulled over a short while later and became argumentative with the officer, claiming it was not possible as “he was driving 98”.
The officer was forced to explain that 98 MPH is 159 KMH and then impounded his car for 7 days after charging him with stunt driving.
The man will be in Brockville court at a future date.
