Kemptville, Alfred closures have not had significant impact on Ridgetown

The agriculture diploma applicants who did not receive acceptance letters to Kemptville Campus of the University of Guelph did not necessarily go running to Ridgetown. In an interview with Blackburn News, Ridgetown Director Ken McEwan said the pending closure of Kemptville and Alfred has not translated into increased interest in his Southern Ontario campus. He says he has heard from some new parents and students but the impact is not significant.
