A woman’s body was found in the Rideau River Tuesday morning, between Vincent Massey Park and Carleton University. As of this report, the deceased had not been identified. The Major Crime Section is treating this as a suspicious death investigation and they are working closely with East District investigators. An autopsy will be done but there is no further information at this time.
