Kemptville has lost two very important members of the community: Dr. George Fisher has been a long-standing supporter of many local resources, including the Kemptville College, Kemptville District Hospital and the North Grenville Public Library, where a statue of George and his wife Norma dancing has been installed outside.
Keith Forbes was a familiar face in the old Kemptville Community Centre for decades, and a strong advocate for hockey and other sports in the area.
