The Kemptville College Renewal Task Force has asked the Municipality of North Grenville to do a study on the economic impact of a renewed Kemptville College. The cost of this study is estimated to be in the range of $50,000 to $75,000. In order to be considered eligible for federal and provincial funding programs, the Task Force needs a broad base of agriculture related organizations to share the cost of this research work. The Task Force hopes to hear from the Municipality within the week and will provide the community with an update on next steps.
