North Grenville Fire: Once you're out of a burning building, stay out.

North Grenville Fire Chief Paul Hutt urges residents to install smoke alarms and practice home fire escape plans. The Fire Service wants to remind you that once you have escaped from a burning building you should not re-enter for any reason. Once you’re out, stay out. Early detection and warning of fire is critical and that is why the law requires smoke alarms to be installed on every storey of your home and outside all sleeping areas. Larger homes may require additional smoke alarms and the fire service recommends you also have working smoke alarms in all bedrooms.
