iAdopt blitz at the SPCA

The Ontario SPCA is in the midst of an adoption blitz.

The ‘iAdopt for the Holdays’ campaign is running at SPCA locations across the province, including the Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre. iAdopt runs until December 1st and the goal is to put as many animals as possible into forever homes during the holidays.

Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre representative Marianne Carlyle says the holidays are a great time to welcome a pet into the home because people often have time off work and they spend it as a family. According to the centre anyone who adopts a cat or kitten during November gets a box of Arm & Hammer Slide Cat Litter. Cats and kittens are available for adoption at $175. They are spayed or neutered, microchipped, with up to date vaccinations and come with six weeks of pet insurance.

Pet owners who have recently adopted are also eligible to enter the iAdopt contest and win pet food for a year. To learn more about the campaign, or enter the contest, click here.
