North Dundas man arrested for public drunkenness at South Mountain Fair

A North Dundas man got himself into some trouble at the South Mountain Fair on the weekend. On Friday, August 15th just after 9pm Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP on foot patrol arrested 27-year-old James Ellis for breaching previous conditions related to the purchase and drinking of alcohol. He was arrested and charged but released. The next day, just before 10pm, Ellis was caught drinking again at the same event. He was arrested and is facing charges of failing to comply with his probation order, causing a disturbance, possession of marijuana, being intoxicated in a public place and failing to leave the premises when directed. Ellis was held in custody, pending a bail appearance in Cornwall Court.
