It was another successful year even though it was one of the coolest and wettest in Kayaking for Cancer history. The event from Kingston to Ottawa on the Rideau Canal managed to raise $53,862 dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society. Morning show host, Drew Hosick, met his target of $1500 dollars by the final day as well. It’s the 14th year of the event and it brings paddlers from all over Eastern Ontario together to make the 200 kilometre trek across the Rideau System over 8 days.
