A 17-year-old girl is recovering after her vehicle landed in the Tay River in Perth. Just before 11am Friday, Lanark County OPP were called to the scene of the collision on Riverside Drive. A firefighter, paramedic and two members of the public assisted in removing the driver from the submerged vehicle. The girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Riverside Drive was closed for several hours during the investigation.
