You’ll need to stop for the flashing lights once again.
With some school buses out on the road and many more expected to hit the road on Tuesday, drivers are being reminded to pay attention to school buses.
Grenville County OPP Constable Cathy Lindsey says failing to follow the rules not only puts lives of children at risk, it can also cost you.
Lindsey says we have to be mindful of children crossing the street.
Remember to wait until the bus driver has turned off the flashing lights, that the stop sign has been retracted, and that the way is clear before proceeding when you come to a stop for a school bus.
The OPP reminds drivers to also watch out for Community Safety Zones and follow speed limits where they are reduced.
