The municipality continues to grow its online presence on social media through posts about community events, municipal reminders and information, and other tips and tricks for residents such as whether it’s paper or plastic week for recycling.
Deputy-Mayor and Chair of Corporate Services Barb Tobin says it’s something council set as a priority after the last election.
Tobin says they’ve seen a steady increase of interest from residents and they’ve seen more people reach out to the municipality.
