A number of appointments are still available for Thursday’s blood donor clinic.
The event runs from 1:30pm to 7:30pm at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.
Residents can book their appointments by calling 1-888-2-donate or by going to blood.ca.
Canadian Blood Services says it continues to need donations from those with O- blood. It says the inventory has less than three days of supply left when it comes to the universal blood type.
More than 14,000 clinics are held annually with 17,000 volunteers and 4,300 employees making them run smoothly.
