If you’re looking for a safe way to watch the solar eclipse tomorrow, head over to the Ferguson Forest Centre.
The Friends of the Ferguson Forest Centre group is hosting an event at the arboretum to celebrate the eclipse. It begins at 1:00pm with members of the North Gower Science Club. The friends organization says they’ll be on site to explain what’s happening, answer questions, and they will have at least one telescope and several pairs of safety glasses to observe.
The maximum eclipse is set for 2:35pm in our area. The organization says more than 60 percent of the sun will be covered at that time.
The group says you can also watch live streaming from the total eclipse online.
