Augusta Township is encouraging their community members to come out and volunteer.
On August 24th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm the Township are asking the public to join them for a volunteer fair. The event will be held at the Maynard Recreation Centre, located at 10 Robert Road. The township hope the public will use this opportunity to learn what they do and how they do it, while also checking out the many volunteer opportunities they offer.
There will be a complimentary barbecue with hamburgers, hot-dogs and drinks. The Mayor and members of council will be present to chat with fair-goers.
