Some members of North Grenville municipal council might have a bit of heartburn left over from the weekend, but it’s all for a good cause. The reigning rib-eating champions defended their title at the Brockville Ribfest rib-eating contest Friday night. After winning the trophy in Kemptville in June, Councillor Tim Sutton and team issued a challenge to all other municipal councils in the United Counties, for a rematch at Brockville Ribfest.
