North Dundas Mayor Eric Duncan announces he will run again

26-year-old Eric Duncan, the Mayor of North Dundas, has decided to run again. At 19 years of age, Duncan was elected to council. In 2010 he became one of the youngest mayors in Canadian history. In 2013 the Winchester resident became Warden of the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry – the youngest in its 162 year history.

The latest candidate for North Grenville Municipal Council is Elwood “Woody” Armour. A regular contributor to the North Grenville Times letters section, Armour joins Rhonda Finnerty, Deron Johnston, Jim Bertram, Frank Onasanya and Tim Sutton on the list looking for a councillor’s seat. The only person to put their name in against the incumbent Mayor David Gordon at this point is Bill Forbes. The deadline for nominations for the 2014 election is Friday, September 12 and election day is Monday, October 27.
