Golf tourney and truck raffle net $115,000 for hospital foundation

The 2nd Annual Bob Perry Memorial Golf Tournament and truck raffle has raised $115,000 for the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation.

The event was held last Friday at eQuinelle Golf Course.

The funds have been earmarked to support a new COPD clinic currently under construction as part of the Clinic Modernization project at Kemptville District Hospital.

The event included the draw for the 2017 Dodge Ram Sport as well. The winner was Randy Hughes.

Foundation Chair Robert Noseworthy thanked the sponsors who covered the cost of purchasing the truck. That meant that 100 percent of all ticket sales would go to the clinic in memory of Bob Perry.

The Perry family has been a big supporter of KDH since its founding.
