The date for the Kemptville & District Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony has been announced.
The event will take place on Thursday, September 28th at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.
A number of inductees have been announced including Bill White, Lloyd Bildson, Brian Cassidy, Gary Pickard and Terry Whalley as founding members of the Kemptville Curling Club. Clara Thompson will be inducted as a builder with minor hockey. Finally, the Kemptville Prescott Combines Hockey Team of 1963 will also be part of the induction ceremony.
This year, organizers are also launching a Sports Person and Sports Team of the year awards. Nominations are being accepted until August 31st.
