Don Sherritt has been reappointed as Chair of the North Grenville Police Services Board for two more years.
Sherritt announced the reappointment on Wednesday afternoon at the board meeting.
Sherritt says the appointment came on May 31st.
The appointment is made through an Order in Council from the Executive Council of Ontario.
The North Grenville Police Services Board is comprised of five members. Two are appointed by the Executive Council of Ontario, one by North Grenville Council, another is a councillor, with the mayor being the fifth member.
Sherritt has been in the role for six years with two three-year-terms under his belt. This two-year-term will last until May 31st of 2019.
