Ottawa police will give more details this morning on the arrest made in the homicide of Jagtar Gill. The 43-year-old mother of three was found stabbed multiple times in the living room of her Barrhaven home on Jan. 29th. Police said they would not be releasing any further details until after a show cause hearing this morning. However, police sources said a woman who is not a family member was arrested Tuesday afternoon after police asked her to show up at the station of her own accord. Reports say the woman lived in the neighbourhood near Gill’s home on 174 Brambling Way. Gill was found in her home by her 15-year-old daughter on the day of her 17th wedding anniversary. She leaves behind her husband, Bhupinderpal, and three children, aged 15, 10 and 8.
