A new feature in the Ferguson Forest Centre will help to teach young people about the flora and fauna that live in the woods, while hopefully fostering a desire to protect it. Artist Don Munz and fellow volunteer Adam Shewchuk worked together with Friends of the Forest, the Municipality of North Grenville and our two local high schools’ shop departments to create signage that has been placed throughout a trails system in the forest. The Kinderwood trail is ideal for children aged 3 to 8. It is located in Anniversary Park, at the end of Veteran’s Way.
