Director of Emergency and Protective Services and Fire Chief Paul Hutt is leaving his position at the Municipality of North Grenville.
Hutt says he’s taken a position with the Ottawa Fire Service as a Deputy Fire Chief. He will be in charge of rural operations and special operations.
CAO Brian Carré says Hutt has been a cornerstone at the municipality.
Hutt says it’s been a great experience in North Grenville and announced the news with a heavy heart.
Hutt begins his new role on April 10th.
