At a public meeting Monday night, North Grenville residents heard about a zoning by-law amendment for the new Kemptville Public School. Director of Planning and Development Forbes Symon said the planning approvals are relatively straightforward. The land zoning at the lot on County Road 44 needs to change from rural to institutional. The Rideau Valley Conservation Authority has been consulted, as a locally significant wetlands is nearby. The new Kemptville Public School is planned to be double the size of the existing facility.
