UPDATE: Ottawa shooting suspect Mohamed Abdullahi now in custody

Mohamed Abdi ABDULLAHI is now in police custody. The 31-year-old turned himself in to Ottawa Police. Charges are pending.

The Guns and Gangs Unit continues to investigate the July 17 shooting on Horsdal Private and is seeking public assistance to locate the suspect believed to be responsible. 31-year-old Mohamed Abdi ABDULLAHI, of Ottawa is wanted in relation to the shooting and will be charged with several firearm offences.
He is described as a black male, 5’10” (178cm), 194lbs (88kg), with black hair and brown eyes (see picture).

ABDULLAHI’s whereabouts are unknown at this time and a warrant for his arrest is currently being sought. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
