Winchester District Memorial Hospital welcomed its first baby of 2017 at 5:57pm on New Year’s Day. Henry Daniel Teasdale is Julie and Daniel Teasdaleās second son. He weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces.
The family lives in Bainsville and says they were surprised when they arrived at noon on January 1st and were told by the nurses that theyād likely have the first baby of the year at the hospital.
The baby was delivered by midwife Sarah Tucker and assisted by midwife Celine D’Arcy.
