Kemptville was given a 97.5 percent drinking water annual inspection ranking by the Ministry of Environment. That’s down from 100 percent from last year. Points were deducted because some tests were completed a few days past the required deadline. That caused the ranking to be reduced by 2.5 percent.
Director of Public Works Karen Dunlop told members of council on Monday, that a plan has been put in place to make sure the deadline isn’t missed again.
While some tests were late, there were no issues with the water quality.
