Not only did Kemptville District Hospital receive Exemplary Standing for the second time running, but it did it so with a perfect score.
Accreditation Canada was through the hospital from November 28th to December 1st for its onsite accreditation survey. KDH met a rare 100 percent of the 1,666 criteria that are used to measure the quality of care and services at the hospital.
VP of Corporate Affairs Lana LeClair says the staff, physicians and board of directors have been busy for the past 18 months getting ready for accreditation.
KDH also received Exemplary Standing in 2012.
