After a cyber attack on the EQAO’s first online literacy test, the Education Quality and Accountability Office has announced that next year’s test will be on paper.
The cyber attack happened back back in October when a “malicious and sustained” attack on the online test prevented nearly 900 schools in Ontario from writing the evaluation.
Education Minister Mitzie Hunter says this is the best way forward at this point until security concerns and system stability can be resolved.
