North Grenville has a new Director of Planning and Development. Senior Planner Phil Gerrard has officially been named to the position. He has been filling in as the acting director for several months after it was announced that Forbes Symon was no longer with the municipality earlier this year.
Gerrard started with the Municipality of North Grenville when the amalgamation happened with the Township of Oxford-on-Rideau. He had been with that township prior to amalgamation.
CAO Brian Carré says Gerrard brings a lot to the role.
Economic Development responsibilities will also be transferred back to Gerrard from CAO Brian Carre with this change.
