The United Way of Leeds and Grenville is lagging behind its 2016 goal and is hoping to do some catching up. The organization says they’re at just over $660,000 which is about 70 percent of their goal.
United Way officials are reaching out to past donors and corporations, hoping to close the gap. They’re also planning a few events in Brockville to bring in extra donations.
The United Way helps fund organizations such as North Grenville Accessible Transportation, Kemptville Youth Centre and Kemptville & District Home Support.
