Former Mayor Ambrose Etmanskie has died at the age of 82. Etmanskie served as the last mayor of Kemptville before our municipal amalgamation to North Grenville in 1998. He is remembered for his fearless leadership and generous mentoring, according to the North Grenville Times. Etmanskie passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on July 6.
