Thousands of bags have been distributed for the annual Fill-a-Bag fundraiser. The event brings in food for the Salvation Army’s food bank and Christmas Hamper program in North Grenville.
The North Grenville Community Church organizes the event by dropping off the bags at homes and picking them up the following weekend filled with donations of nonperishable food items and hygiene items.
Bags are expected to be picked up by teams on Sunday, December 4th. The church asks people to leave the filled bag in a visible location like a porch or near the door for pick-up.
