The Community Improvement Program is expected to have at least $2,000 more for next year. A project that was approved by the committee is not moving forward. That project had received $2,000 through the CIP. Committee of the Whole discussed adding the money to next year’s program on Monday.
There’s also discussion to add Old Town Kemptville to the program and bump up the annual budget for the program. A decision is expected during budget deliberations over the coming months.
