The 2017 North Grenville Budget process has been launched. Monday’s North Grenville Committee of the Whole meeting included the 2017 budget presentation.
Some of the key strategic priorities that are being looked at are based off four sources. They include, council’s priorities set for 2014 to 2018, the community strategic plan, the long-term financial plan and other sources, such as directives that have come from council.
The pre-budget survey will also help guide council during budget deliberations.
The process includes a draft budget that is expected to be presented at Committee of the Whole on Monday, January 16th, four proposed public meetings in January and February, and a final adoption of the 2017 budget set for Monday, March 13th at Municipal Council.
