Ottawa Police ask for help identifying ATM robbery suspect

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in solving the robbery of a female victim at an ATM machine. On Sunday, June 29, at approximately 4:52 pm, a female victim was robbed by a male suspect in the lobby of a bank situated along the 2400 block of Bank Street. The victim entered the bank lobby and while completing a withdrawal, observed a male suspect approach her from behind. The suspect demanded money from her and once received, he left the lobby. There were no injuries. The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 30-40 yrs old, 5’8″ (173cm), and average build. He was wearing a yellow baseball cap, a black shirt and sunglasses (see picture).
