Municipality inching closer to starting work on County Road 44 multi-use pathway

The Municipality is hoping to get going on the multi-use pathway down County Road 44, between County Road 43 and Settler’s Trail. At Monday night’s meeting, staff recommended to North Grenville Committee of the Whole that Willis Kerr Contracting be awarded the job, after their tender came in lowest at $274,000. The work would cover the first phase of the project. Staff is hoping to get shovels in the ground this year.
