North Grenville Council will once again decide on whether or not to support a solar farm on Scotch Line Road. Ontario Renewable Energy Co-op presented the project details and allowed the public to ask questions at Monday night’s meeting. While the municipality has no say on whether or not the Feed-in-Tariff project is approved, they can help the project get approved with a support resolution. Back in October, Committee of the Whole voted to not recommend a motion of support. At the last council meeting they decided to defer the vote until after Monday’s presentation. That resolution will return at this coming Monday’s meeting for council’s decision.
