UPDATE: The public meetings with Hydro One Ombudsman Fiona Crean have been cancelled. The meeting in North Grenville was to happen on Tuesday, November 8th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. MPP Steve Clark says he regrets any inconvenience caused by the cancellation and will work with the Hydro One Ombudsman to reschedule the meetings in the new year.
ORIGINAL STORY: MPP Steve Clark is gearing up for the upcoming meeting he’s hosting in North Grenville with Hydro One’s Ombudsman Fiona Crean. Clark says it’s an opportunity for Crean to hear from local residents regarding the issues they’ve faced in regards to their electricity and billing. Clark says it’s a chance for residents to speak up in person.
Clark says he’s heard about numerous issues residents have faced. He’s also concerned about rising hydro rates. The North Grenville meeting takes place next Tuesday starting at 6:00pm in the Municipal Centre.
