The Goldens are coming. From July 30th to August 3rd, the Golden Retriever Club of Canada’s 54th Annual “National Specialty” event will be held in Kemptville. Club President Darwin Boles says the event will include conformation, agility, obedience and rally competitions as well as a junior handlers competition. The dogs will also get the chance to take part in a traditional duck tracking and retrieving event in Maxville. Throughout the 4-day event, the dogs and their owners will be staying at the Kemptville Campus, where they will have access to animal health clinics and a vendor gallery. The public is welcome, but please leave dogs at home.
