The Kemptville College Renewal Task Force sent out a press release this morning welcoming the formal appointment of a provincial facilitator, the Hon. Lyle Vanclief, by Jeff Leal, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The Task Force had requested a facilitator be available as a liaison with the provincial government, and Vanclief was named prior to the June 12 election as Premier Kathleen Wynne’s choice. Task Force Vice Chair Marty Derks says they look forward to working with Mr. Vanclief and sharing with him their findings and recommendations for the future of the Kemptville campus. A public Town Hall meeting to present those findings happens on Wednesday, July 16 at the WB George Centre. It starts at 7pm.
