Nearly 500 people say goodbye to former North Grenville Fire Chief Tim Bond at Celebration of Life

Family, friends, former colleagues and people that knew retired North Grenville Fire Chief Tim Bond said goodbye yesterday. Hundreds turned out for Bond’s Celebration of Life at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. Active and retired firefighters, as well as other uniformed service people, were on hand to honour Bond with a static Honour Guard. Bond passed away last week after a battle with cancer. He was the local fire chief from 1991 until 2012.
