The North Grenville Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are thanking residents for their support of Apple Day. The organizations have been holding Apple Day in Kemptville for decades. Once a year, they give out apples to anyone that wants one at different stores within the community. They also ask for a donation towards the organizations. Organizers say they raise about $1,500 to use for equipment and programs. Apple Day happened late last month.
