Leeds Grenville Counties Council is working on a new Counties-wide Official Plan. The background report was revealed recently, and it shows “ample land” across Leeds Grenville for our forecasted growth. The representative from MMM Group Limited said the intent of the OP is to provide direction on matters of significance including economic development in Leeds Grenville. The over-arching Counties Plan will not replace existing municipal plans or zoning by-laws. The draft report is to be presented July 24 with the final plan to be completed by the provincial deadline of March 2015.
